Calmly standing up for your or other points of view. It is part of self-control (16) and children can use some of the strategies defined in skill 16

Step back and identify how stressful the situation is. Think about how to respond to the other person and when doing so use a calm voice. Do not raise your voice or act inappropriately towards the other person.
